Scott Donaton is publisher of Advertising Age and Creativity, overseeing the business and editorial strategies and operations for those media brands across all platforms, including print, online, video and conferences.
Ad Age is the world’s leading brand of news, information and data on advertising, marketing and media. Creativity is the definitive showcase of brand-driven creative work.
Before being named publisher in February 2007, Donaton served as associate publisher and editorial director, with a primary responsibility for such high-growth areas as events and conferences; digital new-product development; and global licensing. Prior to that, he spent seven years as the award-winning editor of Advertising Age, overseeing editorial strategy and day-to-day operations of the weekly Ad Age and its real-time online edition.
In 2006, Donaton was named one of the “21 Most Intriguing People in Media” by MIN Magazine, which noted in a profile that he “has the uncanny ability to anticipate the next thing.” Donaton was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Advertising Hall of Achievement recognizing the work of executives under 40, and now sits on the AAF board. He was the 2006 recipient of the American Business Media/Medill School of Journalism McAllister Fellowship.
Donaton also founded and oversees Advertising Age’s Madison & Vine initiative, which includes a popular conference and subscription-based Web site. His book on the topic, “Madison & Vine: Why the Entertainment and Advertising Industries Must Converge to Survive,” was published by McGraw-Hill in 2004.
Donaton served two years as chairman of the editorial committee of American Business Media, and his work has won awards from ABM, the American Society of Business Press Editors and Crain Communications. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events, and a regular commentator on the intersection of popular culture and business on national media programs such as NPR’s “Marketplace Radio,” NBC’s “Today Show” and CNBC’s “On the Money”.
Donaton was promoted to editor of Advertising Age in 1998 after three years as executive editor. Prior to that, he served as editor of TV Guide Online, where he was responsible for developing the online edition of the nation’s largest-circulation weekly. Donaton first joined Ad Age as a media reporter in 1989. In 1993, he helped to launch and edit a weekly section on Interactive media, and he oversaw the editorial development and launch of AdAge.com in 1995. |

Allison Price Arden was named Associate Publisher of Advertising Age and Creativity, part of The Ad Age Group, the world’s leading source of news, information and data on advertising, marketing and media. In that role, she directs all sales and marketing efforts for Advertising Age, Creativity and all their ancillary properties.
Prior to this role, she was General Manager, Interactive for The Ad Age Group. In this role, she has helped drive the evolution of The Ad Age Group’s digital product line, including the new Advertising Age online(www.adage.com), AdCritic.com, Madison + Vine, Ad Age China, and e-newsletters like MediaWorks and Ad Age Digital.
Since coming to the Ad Age Group in 1996 as a Sales Representative, Allison quickly moved onto the management team in the roles of Advertising Director for Advertising Age and Creativity, as well as Director of Business Development and Custom Programs.
Prior to Crain Communications, Ms. Arden worked for Miller Freeman Inc where she worked on Cadence Magazine and launched 3D Design Magazine and its website as National Sales Manager in 1995.
Ms. Arden is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the proud mother of Max, 6 and Maya, 3. In 2005, she completed the ING New York City Marathon. Ms. Arden currently serves on the advisory board of AdTech. |

Jonah Bloom is the editor of Advertising Age, the world’s leading marketing and media publication. In this role he oversees editorial operations for Ad Age across all platforms, including its print and online editions.
Jonah joined Ad Age in September 2002 from PRWeek magazine, a national weekly based in New York reporting on corporate communication, branding and public affairs. He helped to launch PRWeek in 1998 as news editor and went on to become editor-in-chief. He also has considerable experience reporting on the media industry in Europe, having founded and been the editor of Campaign Media Business, a national weekly covering planning, buying and selling of media in the U.K.
Jonah’s other roles have included magazines editor on journalist’s weekly Press Gazette, news reporter on VNU’s Accountancy Age and reporter on weekly print and packaging journal PrintWeek. In 2002 Jonah edited the HarperCollins book “Top Companies in Marketing & Media.” His stories have been published in several national dailies in the U.K. including The Financial Times and The Guardian. |

Mr. Levins is the former

national news service focused on crime
and justice. He is also a former executive
editor of Editor & Publisher (E&P)
magazine and the Editor & Publisher
Web site, and founding editor of MediaINFO.com,
the E&P monthly print publication
that covered all aspects of online publishing
by mainstream media companies.
A former staff reporter
of the Philadelphia Daily News,
the Philadelphia Inquirer and
the Courier Post of Cherry Hill,
N.J., he is a three-time winner of the
Philadelphia Press Association's Annual
Grand Award for Best Reporting in Any
Media. During his tenure at APBnews.com,
that online news service won seven major
national journalism awards, including
Sigma Delta Chi’s award for the
year's best online deadline news coverage,
Investigative Reporters and Editors'
first annual award for excellence in
online journalism, and the National Press
Club award for the best news Web site
journalism.
Currently on the board
